How we verify Stremio addons
A directory status is useful only if its meaning is clear. We validate public manifest availability and describe the limits of that check on every addon page.

Manifest validation
A submitted or synchronized listing is parsed from its declared public Stremio manifest.

Metadata classification
The directory records manifest fields and reviewed taxonomy such as content type, category, language, resources, and version.

Availability monitoring
The health check records whether the public manifest endpoint responds. The timestamp and current state are displayed on the listing.

Community feedback
Ratings and reports are linked to the directory listing. Reports are not published as facts before review.
Important limits
An Online status means the listing's public manifest responded during the latest check. It does not certify every individual stream, catalog item, subtitle, provider account, regional entitlement, security property, or legal right associated with an independent addon.
