Editorial note: this guide is published by the addons-stremio.com Community Team, not by an independent user or the addon developer. Understanding the OpenSubtitles v3 manifest before changing any settings Reading the declared resources first prevents expecting playback from an addon that only supplies catalogs, metadata or subtitles. Verified directory snapshot - Version: 1.0.0 - Directory status: ONLINE - Declared media types: movie, series - Directory categories: movies, tv-shows, subtitles - Declared languages: multi - Manifest resources: subtitles - Catalog entries: 0 - Configuration page: not listed Practical procedure 1. Install while signed into the Stremio account used on the target device, then restart or refresh that client. 2. Test one known movie or series, record the result, and change only one setting before testing again. For OpenSubtitles v3, the manifest currently exposes subtitles. Configuration is not listed. These two facts determine the correct installation path and the place where a result should be visible. They do not prove that every title, provider or region will return content. This page uses the stored manifest and directory health data. It does not invent provider support, speed, availability or legal access, and the information can change when the developer updates the manifest.

Solution
Start with a reproducible baseline for OpenSubtitles v3. Record version 1.0.0, remove no settings yet, and verify the declared resources: subtitles. Restart Stremio, open one known title that matches a declared media type, and note whether the missing part is the catalog entry, metadata, subtitles or playable source. This keeps four different failures from being described as one vague “not working” problem.

OpenSubtitles v3 currently declares media types movie, series and 0 catalog entries. Its configuration page is not listed. If a catalog is not declared, do not use the home-screen row as the only success test. If configuration is available, save the generated setup once and avoid installing several variants until the first one has been checked on the same account.

For a useful follow-up about OpenSubtitles v3, include the device, Stremio client version, addon version, one content example and the exact observed resource. The directory status is ONLINE, while declared language coverage is multi; neither value guarantees a result for every item. Do not publish tokens, debrid keys, passwords or a personalized manifest URL in a forum reply.
