The Movie Database Addon FAQ
Is The Movie Database Addon safe?
addons-stremio.com checks the public manifest response and exposes directory signals, but it cannot audit every external source, account, stream, subtitle, or provider. Review the manifest, status, ratings, and developer setup page before installing.
Do I need a VPN or debrid for The Movie Database Addon?
The stored public metadata does not show a required VPN or debrid signal. Some addons can still need separate accounts, provider access, or regional availability, so review the configuration details.
Why is The Movie Database Addon degraded?
Degraded means the directory detected a partial or unreliable manifest response. The addon page keeps the listing visible while users and developers can inspect the latest context.
How do I install The Movie Database Addon?
Open the developer configuration page first, save any required settings, then choose Install and confirm the addon inside Stremio.
